BRAVE - A STORY ON HOW TO BE A PRINCESS, A CHILD, AND A BRAVE WOMAN

BRAVE - A STORY ON HOW TO BE A PRINCESS, A CHILD, AND A BRAVE WOMAN

I can say that is one of my favourite Disney animation movie. Why? Well, because is the story of  girl who wants to be more than a boring princess, without knowing that being a princess does not necessarily mean to be beautiful and to wear smart clothing. She has never known what being a princess meant, and she has never known that she was quite alike her mother.
Sometimes we need a little push to realize that what we believed was wrong.
There are some key motifs which make the atmosphere of the story become more interesting and captivating. The bear is the most important of them, which symbolizes strength and confidence; standing against adversity; and also involves taking action and leadership. Then we might wonder why the queen Elinor changed into a bear. It might be because of what the bear symbolizes, or because she had to learn how to deal with her daughter, with herself and with the rules imposed by her society. She had to respect standards and principle which were contrary to Merida’s opinions on how to live a normal life.
The story is quite funny, due to her brothers and to everything they did for a sweet. And even if it might seem a little bit scary, it is an extraordinary telling on how to believe in yourself and on the way you can overcome all the obstacles, even those coming from within you.
I enjoyed watching it together and I think that children of all ages should watch it at least once in their life.
